DropBrigt® HPR P is a Hydroxypinacolone Retinoate, a cosmetic grade ester of all-trans retinoic acid.
Hydroxypinacolone Retinoate belongs to the chemical class retinoid, A natural and synthetic derivative of vitamin A that has the ability to bind retinoid receptors.
Binding to retinoid receptors enhances gene expression and thus effectively activates and inhibits cellular functions. When the retinoid receptors of the skin bind to retinoids, a series of pigmentation enhancing functions are put into action, enhancing cell diffusion, promoting extracellular protein and glycan biosynthesis, and enhancing cell metabolism. These are the key factors to combat and change the signs of skin aging.
