Overview:
Phytosphingosine is also one of the key oil components of the human epidermis. As we age, its levels gradually decrease, leading to dryness and roughness. Therefore, phytosphingosine should be used externally. It effectively keeps skin soft, moisturized, and protects the epidermis. Furthermore, phytosphingosine has antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties, making it useful for the prevention and treatment of skin conditions such as acne.
Anti-photoaging test (In Vitro) :
Based on the fluorescence results of T-Skin induced by UVA-UVB irradiation, the expression of COLI in a 3D in vitro reconstruction of the full thickness skin model was significantly increased in both 1mg/ml and 5mg/ml experimental samples. The increase rates were 58.17% (P<0.001) and 75.39% (P<00.1), respectively, and DropCare® phytosphingosine exhibited anti-aging effects at the experimental concentrations.
Applications: Suitable for sensitive skin repair products, acne care products, scalp care products, after-sun repair, anti-aging products, etc.
Dosage:
Soothing: 0.01-0.2%
Barrier Repair: 0.005-0.1%
Anti-Acne: 0.05-0.3
% Hair & Scalp Care: 0.005-0.6%
Solubility: Easily soluble in methanol and ethanol, insoluble in water. Add the formula to the oil phase and heat to homogenize.
Storage: Store sealed at room temperature, away from light and moisture.
Shelf Life : 2 years.
