Lactobionic Acid is a polyhydroxy bioacid that a molecule of galactose linked to a molecule of gluconic acid. The structure of DropCare® LA (Lactobionic Acid) contains eight groups of hydroxyl and oxygen water groups, which can hold onto a lot of water molecules, thus it has good water retention, can regenerate epidermal tissue, and binds to collagen for repair.
