DropCare™ PGA70 (Sodium Polyglutamate) is a viscous amino acid polymer, primarily existing in its sodium salt form. Its structure consists of a high-molecular-weight polymer where amino acid units are linked via peptide bonds formed between α-amino and γ-carboxyl groups. The PGA molecular chain contains many side-chain carboxyl groups, enabling the formation of hydrogen bonds both within and between molecules. This grants it extremely high water-absorbency and moisturizing capabilities. Due to its unique physicochemical and biological properties, such as excellent film-forming, fiber-forming, moldability, and adhesiveness, it has found widespread application in skincare products.
Function: Moisturizing, Anti-aging.
Applications : Creams, toners, eye serums, face masks, cleansing products, shampoos, conditioners and other products.
Recommended: 0.1-1.0 %.
Solubility : Easily soluble in water.
Storage: Store in a cool, dry place. Keep sealed and protected from light.
