Dropcare® PPN60 (papain) is extracted from the fresh juice of immature Carica papaya fruit. It is an endonuclease containing a hydrophobic (-SH) peptide chain and possesses protease and esterase activity. It has strong hydrolytic properties for animal and plant proteins, peptides, esters, and amides.

Dropcare® PPN60 (papain) is particularly effective in skin regeneration, digesting and breaking down dead skin cells without harming new skin. Its main mechanism of action is to hydrolyze dead skin cells , gradually softening and dissolving them. It promotes the removal of aged skin cells and stimulates skin metabolism. At the same time, papain, AHA, salicylic acid, and other ingredients help create clear skin, smooth muscles, remove blemishes, prevent wrinkles, and suppress acne.
Solubility: Good solubility in water
Recommended applications:
The suggested pH range for oral care products, acne care products, oil control products, and whitening products was 4-7 and was added at temperatures below 60°C.
Dosage: 0.1-0.5% for daily use, 0.5-3% for special use.
Incompatibility: Ingredients not recommended include sodium hyaluronate, sodium polyglutamate, proteins, carbomer, and xanthan gum as they may cause white clumping.
System Concentration: Hydroxyethylcellulose.
0.2% papain acts on the cuticle after 24 hours to help cuticle metabolism, smooth the skin, and provide whitening and brightening effects.
